I made a heathy avocado & lime cheesecake for my mum’s birthday.. she is looking rather well .. no yoga ever, except that one time in Dublin, where at my class she had a laughing fit! 🙈😁 but running around with grandchildren, gardening etc.. keeps her fit!

I made a healthy cake for my mother’s 72nd birthday.. avocado and lime cheesecake, chocolate and nutty base. So good!! She hasn’t done any yoga ever.. well she was once at my class in Dublin, where she got a laughing fit and was very disruptive as got me laughing too.. 😂 but she keeps busy with gardening, always running around in other ways, looking after grandchildren, which keeps her fit. She is looking rather well and long may it last!! 🙏🏼💜

This is on my mind. I work hard. Yesterday I thought I did so well. I taught my class in the morning. We got newsletter finished, and Stuart sent it. My new painting done, voiceover for a holiday chair yoga sequence I wanted to share with you went very well I thought. Link got included in the newsletter. Efficiency all around, then later I clicked on the video to make sure that the link worked, only to realise that half of the voiceover was missing… video half silent. Still doeble, but…. 🙈🙈🙈 after all that work!
I needed therapy after that… and what’s better than hugging a very old tree!
Anyway, I will fix the video, but the link might then be different. I’ll keep ya all posted. Happy Friday

Not bragging but I made this cake for our retreat guests yesterday and it was just delicious.. healthy cakes can’t really get much better than this one. It is a variation on our chocolate raspberry one, except that I picked fresh blackcurrants in the garden and used instead. So delicious. I’ll leave a link to the original recipe below, and you can make it with whatever fruits you have to hand. Do let us know how it went. Or come on a retreat and experience it first hand 😁🙏💜

It is full Moon today - Buck Moon.
I was busy painting last night, it was so so beautiful out. Sitting outside till late at night until I could take the midgets no more! 😁🙈
I often get somewhat emotional around full moon but this one is a grounding one (according to an article in the Yoga Journal).
It’s a nice read if you fancy, but this is what I took from it.
This Full Moon invites us to ground ourselves in what really matters, and helps us to steady ourselves to process whatever emotions there are.
It invites us to create balance in our lives and reconnect us to our life’s true work - to the kind of work which connects to our soul’s deepest desires.
Where do you put your focus these days?
Our focus is our power.
When we unconsciously give our attention away through all the distractions around us, we give away our power.
This Moon helps us to reclaim that power by giving us the clarity and showing us what to focus on. 😊🙏💜

John of Loving Oxygen has been running retreats at Eagles Rock since 2018. They have always been transformative .. and a lot of fun! I, for one, would not be swimming in the sea in Ire without his guidance and the ice bath! 😁💪🏼
