These next few days can be crazy busy, stressful & never ending running around.
Take the time to look after yourself
Small acts of self care might look like this.

1. Hopping into bed after a busy day taking 5 min to plan out your breakfast, lunch & dinner for the next day. (I can promise the power of doing this amazing) so worth it!
2. Even a 15 min walk to clear your head helps keep you feel like you haven’t given up on yourself.
3. Prepare your fruit & veg in tubs or zippy bags ready for when you are cooking to make things easier.
4. Think of the easy reheat meals that work for you, so when you come home wreaked something is waiting no matter how your day has been your next meal can be a better option.
Some of my easy go to meals that can be made ahead or popped into the slow cooker
1. lasagne (veg or beef have you tried chicken or pork mince?
2. Curry ( chicken, beef, prawn)
3. Spaghetti Bolognese
4. Chillie con carnie
5. Wrap or boxty pizza
6. Veg or meat stir fry ( have veg pre chopped or buy a fresh veg street mix ) noodles (dried free )or rice(dried free)if you want to keep it easier pre packed noodle & rice will have syns so just check it out on the app or back if your 📕
I hope this help someone because this time of the year isn’t about perfection it’s about consistency 🫶😊

Morning everyone 🤗
I just wanted to say how proud I am of our group
You guys made a decision 6 weeks ago to make some time for yourself & do the best that you could in a very challenging time of year.
In that time as a group the weight loss total with still one weighin before Christmas you have lost 244lb that’s just over 17Stone Amazing 🤩

Some of you have had to attend different days.

Some of you couldn’t stay to session every week.

Some of you life completely got in the way.

Some of you achieved your goal for Christmas

Some of you smashed passed that goal surprising yourself

All of you have made me so proud & honoured to be part of that change.
I am so looking forward to Supporting you throughout 2025

Wow! Is all I can say🥰
When I returned to Slimming World & opened a New group with 6 wks to Christmas I had so many people contacting me to congratulate me and welcome me back.
So many said, I will wait until the New Year.
I totally understand that choice.

I explained how they could take the chance to feel healthy and comfortable with themselves before Christmas.
So when I opened my doors to 27 New members on the 12th of November.
I was so proud of the decision they had made to put their wants and needs first while trusting Slimming World & Me to support them.
We had our Slimming World taster last night along with a snow ball game proud of from 2024 with goal setting for 2025.
I was honestly buzzing with the members belief in themselves and honoured to be part of their journey to a healthier lifestyle.

I am So looking forward to 2025 supporting Carlow with a new choice of Day & Times to join Slimming World and Achieve your personal goals.

Just look at the awards from last night what fantastic commitment to change.
Congratulations to everyone for breaking that glass ceiling. You believed you could and you are doing it 🥰

Today’s meals were very basic easy meals as it’s been a busy day 🤪

Breakfast healthy B choice with some of my A choice topped with banana 🍌
Lunch baked potato 1/2 syn baked beans free & cheese my 2nd heathy extra
Dinner roast chicken bought ready cooked from SuperValu (free once skin is removed)
Mushy pease free carrots free & speed
Roasties free
I synned a gravy knorr gravy pot 2.5 syns I had half of it so it works out at 1.5 syns for my dinner 😋

Remember guys keep it simple ☺️ you can do this 💪

I’m already counting down to seeing my members tomorrow 7pm Woodford Dolmen Hotel
I’m so proud of each & everyone of them no matter the result they have decided to break one of the biggest mindset changes & joined my New Group 6 weeks before Christmas Ahead of 2025!
Now that is one of the best feelings to know the time is right when you decide! 💪
There will always be challenges to overcome the biggest one of all is how we judge & critically speak to ourselves.
If you would like to join ahead of the new year
I would love to see you tomorrow night.

Remember this time of year it’s about making better choices when & where you can so you feel better about yourself. Then on the days where you are more incontrol of your meals you can smash it 💪
This is all about your mindset changes feeling like you tried your best even over the most challenging times, helps with your behaviour changes helping you feel more confident about your choices on the days where you don’t have as much going on 😉

So for yourself your mindset & behaviour changes your making take a minute when challenged and think about what the better option is in this situation it’s no about being perfect just better choices where you can because you are doing this for You!
