Acknowledgement – Annie Duffy, Bunn, Glengad

The family of the late Annie Duffy would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the passing of our dearest mother figure, cherished auntie, and much-loved granny.

We sincerely thank all those who sent Mass cards, messages of condolence by text and phone, gave donations to the Patients’ Comfort Fund at Carndonagh Community Hospital, and those who attended the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to our family, friends, and neighbor's who helped in so many ways, including providing refreshments, assisting with parking, and to all the businesses who kindly sent food to the house during the wake.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who cared for Annie, especially members of our own family who lovingly looked after her, Dr. Síofra and the nurses in Brook Medical Surgery, and all the nurses who cared for her in her final days.

Thank you to Fr. Devlin for the beautiful funeral Mass and to Fr. Logue and Fr Devlin for his prayers at the wake.

A special thanks to Eamonn and Liam from McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their kindness, compassion, and professionalism in carrying out Annie’s funeral arrangements.

We also thank Joanne and Finbarr for the beautiful music during the funeral, and to those who helped prepare Annie’s grave.

Our thanks to Glengad Community Centre and all who helped with the food after the funeral.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

Annie’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 11th April at 6pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay.
