St Teresas Nursing home St. Teresa's Nursing Home is located in Friar St, Cashel; it was the former Presentation Convent.

We are a small private family run nursing home based in the historic town of Cashel, Co.Tipperary. The holistic care of our residents is paramount in the home and we endeavour to ensure all of their varying needs are met. The Nursing home is located on a large private 2 acre secure site, in the centre of Cashel town with direct and easy access to all amenities available in a busy tourist location. The home is a three storey building that has been extensively and tastefully restored in keeping with its original features. The surrounding grounds are safe, secure, attractive and well maintained. Residents have access to all of the grounds but mostly utilise the grounds to the rear of the building, which offers seating and sidewalks with no steps or obstacles. We have a wide range of everyday activities to enhance the quality of life of our residents and because of our very central location residents have direct access to go to mass in the Parish Church which is next door to the nursing home. The Library, Dun Quin restaurant, shops, pubs, boutiques, chemist, optician and local bingo hall is located within a 3 minute walk from the building.

The festive spirit is truly alive here, and everyone is excited and eagerly counting down the days until Christmas! ✨🎅

What a wonderfully fun week we had last week at St Teresa’s in Cashel! 🎉
Our residents and participants were busy mastering the art of memory games, sharing lots of laughter and brain-boosting moments along the way. 🧠✨

We also enjoyed plenty of joyful singing sessions, filling the rooms with music, smiles, and a real sense of togetherness. 🎶💛

A special highlight was Sunday’s music session – made even more memorable with the lovely Brendan, whose talent and company brought pure pleasure to our weekend gathering. 🎤🎼

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped create such a heartwarming and uplifting week. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🌟

🧺 Laundry / Cleaning Staff
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
– Ensure residents’ clothing and linens are handled with care
– Attention to detail and teamwork essential

💙 Health Care Assistants
– Provide compassionate, person-centred care to our residents
– Support daily living activities and promote independence
– QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards it) desirable
