DBB AC goes Stateside

Huge congratulations to DBB AC’s Marie Fitzgerald who took on the 52nd edition of the New York Marathon on Sunday 5th November. This is a Platinum Label marathon and one of the 6 World Marathon Majors. Marie was one of approximately 50,000 entrants taking part in the race which goes through all five boroughs of New York City, starting on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge on Staten Island and passes through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx, before finishing in Central Park. Marie started the race at 10.20am, ran a very steady pace averaging approximately 8.26 minutes per mile to finish with an amazing PB of 3.41.14. Well done Marie, enjoy the well deserved celebrations.
