Protective Behaviours Ireland - MCI Ireland

Protective Behaviours Ireland - MCI Ireland The Protective Behaviours process is a practical, empowering approach to personal safety for children, young people and adults.

Protective Behaviours Ireland’s main aim is to preserve and protect the physical, emotional and mental health of children and young people. Training in the Protective Behaviours process equips individuals with the necessary skills to help children and young people should they experience domestic violence or any other difficult situation in their lives. The Protective Behaviours process enables all

those who have contact with children and young people, whether in their professional role or their personal lives through empowerment and education, to develop strategies to keep themselves and those children safe. It is important that we empower children so they are able to apply preventative strategies as everyday life skills. The Protective Behaviours Program teaches children preventative strategies in a non threatening and non sexual way. MCI Ireland provides training in the Protective Behaviour Process.
