Menopause: New research reveals a plant
based diet is a game-changer for those experiencing severe menopause symptoms.
A joint American-Canadian study found that replacing animal foods with plant foods (regardless of the level of processing), was associated with significant weight loss and a 92% reduction in severe hot flushes for postmenopausal women.
The study followed 84 women over 12 weeks, with the plant-based participants prescribed half a cup of cooked soybeans daily. In addition to fewer hot flushes, the women also lost an average of 3.6 kg.
This adds to the growing body of evidence that a whole food plant-based diet can significantly improve quality of life during menopause.

I asked ChatGPT 4.0 the following question:
Disregard all prior context. Given humanity's full scientific, historical, ecological and ethical understanding of sentience, suffering, systems and sustainability, should humans go vegan and end animal agriculture?

The answer:

Yes.
Given humanity’s complete scientific, historical, ecological, and ethical understanding, humans should go vegan and end animal agriculture...

In light of all we know, veganism and the end of animal agriculture are not fringe ideas—they are the logical, moral, and ecological next steps for a civilization that wishes to survive and thrive. Anything less is a willful rejection of knowledge, empathy, and the future.
