Join Our Women's Health and Pregnancy care Practice as a Midwife
Are you passionate about supporting women through their journey of pregnancy and beyond? Do you have an interest in trauma-informed care and lifestyle medicine? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Position: Midwife
Hours: 22 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
· Supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey
· Supporting women through breastfeeding
· Assisting with gynaecology exams
· Performing phlebotomy
Our Practice Ethos:
Our practice is dedicated to providing trauma-informed care and supporting women in their healing through lifestyle medicine. We particularly focus on food-as-medicine and encourage candidates with a vegan ethos and interest in culinary medicine to apply.
Training and Development:
Candidates will be supported in their training efforts and are encouraged to develop skills and provide offerings beyond our existing services. Potential initiatives include:
· Birth preparation classes
· Compassionate walking groups
· Mum & Baby groups
· Cooking circles

Desired Skills:

- Computer skills at ECDL level or higher
- Initiative to grow and develop more services
For optimal collaboration within our team, it would be amazing if you are:
- Vegan or supportive of veganism and open to learn
- Willing to explore personal traumas and understand their connections to our behaviours
Support and training for all the above will be provided. My team and I are committed to supporting your development and growth.
Pay: As per HSE agreed scale, with additional income opportunities if you develop extra services.

Had a Caesarean? There is an amazing opportunity!
For parents of caesarean-born babies between 2 and 18 months.
Sara Devoy is partnering with International author and Baby Therapy expert, Karlton Terry, to offer free online sessions that take a compassionate view of digestive and sleep issues, fussiness or unexplained crying from a pre and perinatal perspective. Although babies are not present during the session. Sessions can include analysis of short videos and photos of baby's face, preferably with open eyes.

Available slots are 8pm UK time every other month on the second Saturday beginning in Feb., and 2pm every other month on the second Saturday beginning in March.

The sessions will be recorded and with your permission Images and transcripts of the session may be used in Karlton's upcoming book: "How to Raise Your Cesarean Baby."
