Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
Outdoor workers are exposed to 2 to 3 times more ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun than indoor workers. Therefore outdoor workers have a higher than average risk of developing skin cancers.

Celebrating 65 years in Castlebellingham

Whites Pharmacy was founded in 1955 by Mrs Carmel White. Within a few years of opening the pharmacy moved a small distance to its present location on the busy Main Street in Castlebellingham.

The modern pharmacy is now not surprisingly unrecognisable from the original premises where hand written labels were the order of the day. However throughout the last 65 years what hasn’t changed is our commitment to the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Our mission is to provide one to one healthcare and lifestyle advice to all our customers. It is in this spirit that we look forward to serving the needs of the local community for many years to come. White’s Pharmacy “feeling healthy looking healthy”.
