About the FORD Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre ✨
The FORD Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre has provided counselling services to Wexford for over 30 years, with premises in Gorey, New Ross, and Wexford Town. The centre is an afFORDable service, meeting the needs of those who avail of it. In 2021, 361 people contacted us and we delivered 3061 professional counselling sessions. This was an increase in 120 people who availed of the services, thanks to last year’s fundraising efforts. There is more demand for people to be heard and we want to do more to help those on our waiting lists by raising funds to provide more services. We work with issues of stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, bereavement, relationship difficulties, financial worries, COVID issues, workplace stress, overwhelming feelings, su***de ideations, domestic violence, and all mental health issues.
