🌊 Introducing Béal Geal’s Weekly Weekend Tide Update🌊

At Béal Geal, we want to make your seaside sauna experience as smooth, calming, and easy as possible.
Starting this week, we’ll be sharing a weekly tide update the start of every week— giving you the high tide, sunrise, and sunset times for both Saturday and Sunday.

These updates are designed to help you plan the perfect visit to our hidden gem. Whether you're feeling like an early-morning walk with the first light followed by a roast, a midday high-tide dip, or a slow sunset session to close the week, you’ll have all the information you need to choose your ideal moment.

Unfortunately,it's Ireland, and we can't predict the weather so we won't bother with that....
Here’s to weekends well spent, tides well timed, and finding your favourite way to unwind.

This week we recommend booking your session between 3pm & 7pm for the best tide. (5pm session is peak !)

It's all trial and error 🙃
From next weekend onwards (November 1st 2025) we'll only be open Saturdays and Sundays 11am until 7pm.

We're also changing our session durations from 30 minutes to 45 minutes - this comes from some honest feedback over the last few months that 30 minutes can feel somewhat rushed, between relaxing and chatting in the heat and sea dips the time disappears.

We also added a clock inside the sauna to keep track of your session 💙

We can’t wait to welcome you back for your new and improved Béal Geal experience.

Why is it so important to sit on a towel ?

🐚 A towel absorbs your sweat ,body oils, dirt and seawater,preventing it from soaking into the wooden benches.Helping prevent the build-up of moisture leading to mold,discolouration and damage.

🐚 Acts as a hygienic barrier,protecting you from any bacteria left by previous users and protecting the next users.

🐚 It's not all about the sauna too !
It's more comfortable than sitting on bare wood,and not as intense on your skin.

So please,don't forget to bring a towel to sit on,a small effort that makes a big difference in keeping our sauna clean,comfortable and long lasting 💙
