Why hugs Matter
Hugs do more than comfort your child,they help their whole body feel safe. A tight, warm hug can calm their system, ease stress, and help them manage big emotions. It builds trust, connection, and a sense of security over time. Even a few seconds can make a difference.

Just remember: always follow your child’s lead. A hug only helps when it feels safe and welcome 🤍

Mondays, 9am–3pm | The Misneach Centre

Sophia Idowu, IAPTP-registered Play Therapist, has availability on Mondays to support children and young people aged 8–18 who may be struggling with big emotions, anxiety, school stress, or challenges at home.

Play therapy offers children a safe, creative way to express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. Sophia also provides supportive guidance for parents, helping strengthen understanding and connection at home.
