The death has occurred of Raymond McConnon, 23 Lodge View, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, May 14th 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.


Predeceased by his parents Johnny & Annie McConnon, brothers Patsy and Peter, sisters Aggie, May, Josephine, Philomena, Lily and Bridie.


Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family; brothers Johnny and Malachy, sisters Bernie and Sheila, brother-in-law Sean, sister-in-law Joan, much loved uncle of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Leona Connolly, 27 Oran Railway View, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, and formerly of 5 Cavanreagh, Scotshouse, Clones, Co. Monaghan, who passed away suddenly but peacefully at her residence on 11th May 2026.

Predeceased by her grandparents Pat and Annie Connolly, Willie and Theresa Moore, her uncle Brendan Moore, aunt Pauline Rathigan and her nephew Odhrán Connolly.

Remembered with love and sadly missed by her loving son Harrison, parents Ollie and Bridie Connolly, brothers Patrick (Lisa) and Martin (Ida), sisters Jennifer (Andrew), Emma, Sinéad (Matt) and Áine (Martin), nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of John A. Blakey, Piobaire, Kilatee, Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and formerly Leeds, Yorkshire, England, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 2nd 2026.


Beloved husband of Maria (Fitzpatrick), cherished father of Kiera and Holly, adored grandfather of Aneirin and Winter.

Predeceased by his brother Peter and sister-in-law Joyce.
