The death has occurred of Mary McCagh, formerly of Cordoagh, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, suddenly but peacefully in the devoted care of the staff at St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan on Tuesday 18th November 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Francis, Parents Robert and Annie, Brothers Gerard and Robert. Mary will be sadly missed by her Brother Eugene, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home Cootehill (H16 FD25) on Monday 24th November from 4.30pm to 5.30pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Corrick arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning 25th November at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Francis (Gerard) Scorr, 24 Mount Carmel Drive, Moate, Westmeath / Cootehill, Cavan.

Francis Gerard Scorr 24 Mount Carmel Drive, Moate, Co. Westmeath formerly of Bridge Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan 15th November 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Tallaght University Hospital Dublin.


Predeceased by his parents Owen and Olive, sisters Anne, Margaret, brothers Thomas, Owen, Martin, Hughie and Anthony, and his children’s mother Bernadette.


Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken children Nanette (David), Michael (Andrea), Fiona (Ger), Sheila (Adrian), Sean and Eugene, his cherished grandchildren Jordan, Ben, Ashton, Shane, Emma, Jayna, Daniel, Niamh, Ryan, Rosalee and Jamie, brothers John, Philip and Pa**ie, sisters Mary, Bernie and Olive, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
