**Funeral Arrangements Have Been Added**

The death has occurred of George Crowe Jnr, Tullyvin House, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan September 5th 2025 suddenly at his home.

Predeceased recently by his brother-in-law Keith Flynn.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his parents George Snr and Susanna, his siblings Elaine (Andy), Orla, Conor (Ausra), Niamh, Siobhan and Suzanne (Conor), nephews and nieces Darren (Ciara), Paul (Stephanie), Orla (Ian), Brian (Caoimhe), Eabha, Rían, Susanna, Emeline, Lilian, grandnieces and grandnephews Brooke, Abigail, Cara and Charlie, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

He Meant So Much To So Many.

Reposing at his residence Tullyvin House (H16 PX85) this Wednesday from 12 to 9pm. Removal leaving his residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Cootehill for 11 o’clock funeral mass, followed by burial in St Patrick’s cemetery Corick, Cootehill, Co, Cavan.

There will be a one way system in place to Tullyvin House, enter via Tullyvin Village (Univet) and exit through the main entrance of Tullyvin House. A shuttle bus will be in operation from Univet.

The death has occurred of Peadar (Patrick) Lyons, 25 Bridge Street, Cootehill / Bagenalstown, Carlow.

Peadar (Patrick) Lyons, 25 Bridge Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and formerly St Brigid’s Cresent, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, September 3rd 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Monaghan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Róisín, his sister Peggy and brother Jackie.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his Son Richard, daughter Sarah, son-in-law Colm, brother Dickie, sisters Marie, Bea and Lily, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Peggy (Margaret) Langan (née Magee), 46 Church Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, 17th August 2025 peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her husband Dick and recently by her two sons Richard and John and her brother Willie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Margaret, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Dodie, nephews, nieces and her godchild Brenda, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Sinead O’Grady, Station Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, ex nursing staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar, July 22nd 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her family in the devoted and expert care of Beaumont Hospital Oncology Unit.

Predeceased by her Parents Seán and Breda.

Sadly missed by her twin sister Máire (Christy), sister Ina (Michael), brothers Jim (Bernadette), Tom (Caroline), John (Anne) and Utan (Helen), her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her extended family and many friends.

Bailieborough Creative Hub are delivering a ‘Melting Words – Creative Conversations’ workshop in Cootehill Library onTuesday 15th July from 2.30pm - 4pm. This mindful art workshop is part of the ‘Art of Life’ project and will provide a meaningful and engaging way for adults to explore and start conversations about future care planning and end of life.
