The death has occurred of Donal O'Rourke, Knockatee, Cavan Road, Ballyhaise, Monday September 29th, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Annie and his twin sister who died in infancy, also his brothers in law Hugh O'Reilly and Charlie O'Reilly.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Anna née O'Reilly, sons Mark (Anne), Carl (Sinéad), Daragh (Breda), Shane (Fiona), Adrian (Yvonne), brothers Noel (Brìd) and Gerard, grandchildren Gary, Brìan, Calvin, Ryan, Ali, Elle, Annie, Fionn, Amber, Isabel and Kayla. brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3.30pm until 7.30pm, house private at all other times please.

Parking facilities at St Mary's Church Ballyhaise with a shuttle bus service to and from the family home..

Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St Mary's Church, Ballyhaise to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, interment afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery Castletara.

The death has occurred of Sharon O’Grady, Munelta, Stradone, Co. Cavan, formerly of Clondalkin, Co. Dublin, Monday September 15th peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.


Sharon will be sadly missed by her son Ryan, brother James, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and many friends.

The death has occurred of Jamie Colbourne, Lisreagh, Cavan, Co. Cavan.

Our beautiful son Jamie, just turned 26 on 16th August, passed from earth in Perth Australia on the 27th August, 2025.

It was sudden and quick, no crime or accident involved, he just collapsed while out jogging.

We are all beyond heartbroken.

He was loved to bits by everyone that had the pleasure of crossing his path - here in Ireland, over in Western Australia and in New Zealand.

He was ambitious, passionate, funny, weird, tremendous, wonderful, beautiful, hilarious, amazing, fun, and bold.

He was an extraordinary young man.

He will be deeply missed and his memory cherished by his family and friends everywhere, especially we, his parents, David and Elena, and his siblings Matthew, Donna, Ciarán and Seán, his aunts and uncles Attracta, Des, Ian, Irene, Bernie and Trish, and his cousins Aoife, Rachel, Katie and Shane.

May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
