The death has occurred of Bridget McCabe (née Brady), Drumheel, Ballinagh, Co Cavan, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her family, on Friday 2nd January 2026 in her 93rd year.

Beloved wife of the late John Andy. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Susan Brady. Bridget will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving family; Padraig, Michael, Siobhan and Breda, daughters in law, son in law, sadly missed by her thirteen adored grandchildren and her two cherished great grandchildren, her cousins extended family, neighbours and friends.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

Reposing at her home in Drumheel on Sunday 4th January from 12noon to 4pm for family, neighbours and close friends. Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday 5th January from 5pm to 8pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday 6th January in St Felim's Church, Ballinagh at 11.00am, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The McCabe Family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care that Mam received from all her carers in her home.

The death has taken place of Thomas Mannering, Laragh Crescent, Cavan, Thursday 1st January 2026, suddenly and unexpectedly at Cavan General Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his grandfather John Mannering and his uncle Michael Mannering. Sadly missed by his loving parents Martin and Mary, brothers Dean, Leon, Adam, and Jayden, sister Maya, grandparents Sylvester and May Murray and Josephine Mannering, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am in St Brigid's Church Killygarry, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Deirdre Gaffney, Rocklands, Drumalee, Cavan and late of Banaho, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan, Friday January 2nd, peacefully at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved daughter of the late Eugene (Gene) and the recently deceased Maisie.

Sadly missed by her loving partner Nicholas, brothers Paddy (Olive) and Eugene (Sorcha), nephews and nieces, Evan, Hannah and Conor. Aunts, Sr. Eileen, Rosaleen and Bridie, uncles, Phelim, Tommy and Patsy sisters in law, relatives and many friends.

Pre-deceased by her husband Henry, parents Peter and May, brothers Brian, Alfie, George and Peter, sister Kathleen.
