Michael (Mickey) Boylan, Clifferna, Stradone, Co. Cavan and late of Mullaghboy, Ballyheelan, Co. Cavan. Friday, May 15th 2026, peacefully in the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan, surrounded by his heartbroken family. Predeceased by his loving wife Marie, parents Peter and Elizabeth, brothers Peter and John and sister Maureen.

Deeply regretted by his devoted daughters Linda, Amanda, Lisa and Tracey and his much loved grandchildren Donna, Jade, Daryl and Joshua. Sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence (Eircode H12 N254) on Sunday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Clifferna for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Deirdre Smith, Clifferna, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Monday, May 12th, Suddenly at her residence. Predeceased by her parents John and Maura, infant brother Damien, Granny Katie, aunts and uncles. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughter Leanne (Paul) and her much loved and adoring granddaughter Katie. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Kieron, Raymond, Shaun and Fintan, sisters Marion, Audrey and Ashling. Sadly missed by her aunt Kate Mary, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home (Eircode H12KW10) on Friday from 1pm - 8pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Clifferna, for Funeral Mass at 2pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to The Asthma Society of Ireland, care of the undertaker. House private at all other times please.

Petrea Ruddy (nee Galligan), Pullamore Near, Cavan. Friday, May 8th, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband PJ and her parents Paddy and Kay.

Deeply regretted by her loving family - sons Noel, Dermot and Padraig, daughters Petrea, Mags and Bernie. Sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Patrick, Leah and Ellie, sons-in-law Tony and Philip, Merryn, her twin sister Margot Boylan, brothers PJ and Francie, sisters-in-law Toni and Josie, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, tomorrow Sunday from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from her home on Monday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Killygarry for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Cavan Palliative Care.

Mattie Conaty, Stradone Village, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely borne. Pre-deceased by his father Terence and sister-in-law Teresa.

Deeply regretted by his heart broken wife and best friend Carmel.
