Here at Cian's Home Care we are delighted to announce the opening of our new centre in the cavan area dedicated to caring for young children with intellectual disabilities. We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team.
Person In Charge (PIC)
Job Description: As the PIC, you will lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You’ll be responsible for managing the team, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and developing personalized care plans for children.
Qualifications Required: A Level 7/ 8 qualification in Social Care, Nursing, or a related field. Minimum of three years' experience in a management role within a care setting. Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards.
Deputy Manager
Job Description: Supporting the PIC, you will assist in day-to-day management, focusing on implementing care plans and promoting staff development. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring the wellbeing of the children in our centre.
Qualifications Required: A Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care, Psychology, or a related field. Two years of experience in a supervisory or senior role in a social care environment. Strong leadership and communication skills.
Social Care Worker
Job Description: You will provide hands-on support to children, focusing on their daily needs and social development. Your role includes assisting with activities, promoting independence, and building positive relationships to create a supportive environment.
Qualifications Required: A Level 7 or higher qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, nursing or related field and Previous experience working with children or individuals with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
Support Worker
Job Description: Working closely with the Social Care Workers, you’ll offer essential support in meeting the children’s daily needs and maintaining a comfortable, caring atmosphere. This role involves helping with activities and providing practical assistance.
Qualifications Required: A relevant QQI Level 5/6 qualification or equivalent in Health and Social Care. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
