Easter is a time of new beginnings and that is very much the case this year at Finnegan Funeral Directors and Lakelands Crematorium. Given how much both have grown and developed in recent years, our Proprietor and CEO, Declan Finnegan is very pleased to announce a new Management Team who will guide both branches of the long-established business into an exciting new chapter.
Under Declan's continuing leadership, Bernard McPhillips will take over the day-to-day running of Finnegan Funeral Directors as Manager, continuing his trusted role as Funeral Director and guiding the business as it prepares to open its new Funeral Home in Arva, Co. Cavan, expanding the scope of the caring and dedicated service it has offered through the Finnegan family to Co. Cavan and beyond for over eighty years.
Taking over as Manager of Lakelands Crematorium and Funeral Home, Ian Fee will expand on the trusted role he has fulfilled for over six years with the company, continuing as an award-winning celebrant and now as the guiding hand of the exceptional team in Lakelands who have become a trusted partner of funeral directors and families around the country, guiding them with compassion, dignity, and professionalism.
As both elements of the company continue to evolve to meet the growing and diverse needs of the community, Bernard and Ian, working closely with Declan as he continues to lead and direct the business, will seek to offer the same dedicated service in the coming years as we have for generations.
