Yoga is a wonderful practice for body and mind. It has been practised for thousands of years and it has been proven to make the body healthy and the mind calm, so that contentment, balance and harmony can be brought into daily life. Yoga means union or to "unite". Everyone can practise yoga, even those of us who are unwell. Yoga poses, modified where necessary, help us to regain or maintain strength and suppleness of the muscles and joints. Regular practice of yoga may result in many benefits to both the physical and mental states. BENEFITS:

* Teaches relaxation & mindfulness

Hatha yoga is suitable for everyone whatever your flexibility or fitness level is and is also excellent for beginners. Yoga classes are offered from a beginner to advanced level. Classes also includes a strong therapeutic approach that enable those with any body restrictions or injuries to enjoy a regular yoga practice. All students are very much encouraged to progress at their own pace. The class will include a gentle breathing practice, simple yoga poses using the breath that will stretch, tone and build strength and flexibility in the body and a wonderful relaxation to close to help you feel more grounded. An introduction to a simple meditation practice is introduced throughout the classes. Yoga is about having some fun and bringing lightheartedness in our daily lives while discovering who you are.

It's important to schedule something nourish your heart, body and the Pause that we crave.

This little guy has been with me since my Montessori teaching days.

Even way before my meditation teaching today ...

I was Teaching those gorgeous little people that they are loved and how to be kind to themselves and their friends was the start to every day. β™₯️😍

I remember I used to make up a story with this guy who was known as "Mr Love" as he told them all about how he smiled bright when he saw anyone be kind to each other.

He would sit on the window loving them all ....

Ahh the days ...

20 years on, I still couldn't let him go ..

He sits at the end of my mat reminding me of not to be so hard on myself, to love and accept who I am.

I guess we are always childlike in our hearts.

Pure ... ✨️

Everything new begins with pause, taking it really in and moving out from here.

Presence is not something to pursue from "out there"

It's something we UNCOVER ✨️

I begin every morning, our classes, every training, energy healing, Sound Baths, Retreats with guiding us into our own presence.

I was chatting to someone about how teaching our teens to take care of their wellbeing changes.

Our teens grow up fast and have so much going on. I was stopped in my tracks as he wisely said " the best and only way to teach them .. is to take care of YOUR self".
-
They might not listen but they watch and take in everything! It was a kinda a mic drop moment for me!
-
The greatest way to teach our young people the best to take care of themselves is mirrored on how WE do it.

So how do we best keep guiding them?

By SHOWING them, BE-ing what we want to teach them. They might not always listen but they SEE and feel everything!
