Did you know that BeLú Body Clinic is the very first Women's Health Physiotherapy Clinic in Celbridge? Here we treat everything Women's Health from urinary incontinence to gynaecological conditions, menopausal symptoms and of course antenatal and postnatal issues.

Remember, you do not need to have a referral from your GP or Gynaecological or Obstetrician Specialist.

We are CORU-registered and Chartered here at BeLú which means our Physiotherapist is state-registered, and you can claim back on your visit through your private healthcare provider.

All initial consultations in pelvic health are allocated one full hour. The time dedicated to our female patients allows us to have an in-depth discussion on your presenting complaint and medical history. Not all presentations will require internal examination but we do allow for this. The pelvic floor is complex and therefore requires a specialised Physiotherapist with the most updated training and knowledge. That is what we offer you here at BeLú Body Clinic.

National Bike Week is this week everyone!With this glorious sunshine let nothing hold us back from getting up on those bicycles.

So, make sure your bike is sitting in the correct position for your body. Here's a few pointers below to check on your list:

🚲 Trunk of body to horizontal should be approx. 45 °angle.
🚲 Shoulders should rest at 90° angle to trunk.
🚲 Optimum saddle height: When crank is at 6 o' clock position, the knee should be at approx. 35/40° flexion/bend
🚲 'Soft' elbows: Approx 165° elbow flexion. This will transmit less shock absorption up to the neck which is welcoming news I'm sure for those with chronic neck ailment.
🚲 Don't forget to wear hand gloves for long distances.
