The death has occurred of Donal O'Flynn, The Turrets, Charleville, Cork / Ballyhea, Cork.

Donal, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Sunday, December 14th, 2025.

After eight years of epic struggle, many a seemingly lost cause won through courage, willpower and sheer stubbornness, his strength worn down but his spirit unbroken, this giant of a man is finally at rest.

Forever mourned and celebrated by the love of his life, his wife Kathleen (née O'Connell), daughter Shannon and her husband Phil, son Ros and his wife Maria, daughter Megan and partner Paddy, and by his darling granddaughters Havana, Saoirse and Sienna, his sisters Katsy and Deirdre, his brothers Diarmuid, Con and Paddy.

Predeceased by his parents Dan and Sheila, his sisters Réidín and Gráinne, brothers Tadhg and Jack and his grandson Hunter.

Anne (late of Mullane Dentists) passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents James and Annie, brothers Michael, Noel and sister Kathleen.

Beloved sister of Mary, Pat and John, sisters-in-law Arlene and Maureen, special nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Kate.

Beloved husband of Breeda (née Hennessy - Kilfinane), much loved father of Kay (Sharkey), Mary (Wallace), Pat, David, Jimmy and the late Breeda and Doreen (Sharkey), his adored 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his dear wife Myrla (Myla) (Bruñidor) of the Philippines, his parents Denis and Mary Frances, brother Fr. James and sister Marian.
