Irish Heart Month is observed in September throughout Ireland. An initiative of the Irish Heart Foundation (I.H.F.), the month-long dedication raises awareness about our heart and its health. Silent heart diseases claim thousands of lives each year. Each year, the I.H.F. introduces a theme that accompanies the educative message behind this.
The theme for 2025 is Her Heart Matters, focusing on encouraging women to know the symptoms of heart attack and talk to their doctor about their heart health through the Her Heart Matters campaign. The initiative is run by the Irish Heart Foundation and will highlight the urgency for women to seek timely treatment for heart conditions.
