☘️ What a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day we had! ☘️

We started the day with some lovely Irish coffees before welcoming Rahan Ceoltas, who brought wonderful traditional music and great energy to the day. We even had a surprise visit from St. Patrick himself, which gave everyone a great laugh! 🍀

The celebrations continued into the evening with beautiful music from Katie Healy, and we finished the day with a delicious takeaway.

Our residents had a brilliant day and it was enjoyed by all the staff too. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special celebration!

Today we celebrate Irish heritage, friendship, community, and the joy of coming together.
From shamrocks to songs, our homes are full of celebration today! Our residents and staff are marking the day with treats, laughter, and plenty of green spirit!

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

We honour all the mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and mother figures whose love, guidance, and strength continue to shape our lives. We also hold in our hearts the mothers who are no longer with us, but whose memory and impact remain deeply felt. And to those who are looking forward to becoming mothers, we celebrate you too.

Across all our Evergreen Care nursing homes, we are privileged to care for so many remarkable women. We are equally grateful for our dedicated staff, many of whom are mothers themselves, who share their compassion and care each and every day 💗

Puppy Therapy Day 🐶💛

Our residents absolutely love when the puppy come to visit. The moment those little paws walk through the door, the room fills with happiness, laughter, and so many smiles. Watching our residents cuddle, chat to, and play with the puppies brings such warmth and joy to everyone.

These visits create beautiful moments — sparking memories, lifting spirits, and brightening the whole day. The comfort and companionship these little bundles of fluff bring is simply priceless.

A big thank you to our furry friend for spreading so much love and happiness! 🐾✨

Busy days here in Esker Ri! ☀️ The sunshine has been absolutely lovely and it really makes such a difference to everyone’s mood.

Our residents have been enjoying plenty of fun games, relaxing walks, and lots of great moments together. It’s wonderful to see so many smiles and hear the laughter throughout the day.

Days like these remind us how special the little things can be. 🌼

We had such a lovely, relaxing morning with Jen today 💆‍♀️✨

Our residents enjoyed reflexology, soothing massages, and refreshing facials, all paired with a calming music meditation. The peaceful atmosphere and gentle self-care made for smiles, serenity, and a truly special experience for everyone involved.

We’ve had some students on work experience from Ard Scoil Chiaráin with us over the past week, and they have been absolutely fantastic! 🌟

The residents loved having them here — they brought such positive energy and creativity into the place. It’s so lovely to see the community getting involved, and they were truly like a breath of fresh air.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, Sherin Abraham.

Sherin was a much-loved member of our team, known for her kindness, dedication, and the care she showed to both her colleagues and the people we support. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.

We also want to recognise the courage and sacrifice shown by so many who leave their home country, families, and communities to work abroad. Building a life and career far from home takes strength and commitment. We honour that journey and the contribution Sherin made, both professionally and personally.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Sherin’s family, friends, and all who are grieving at this very difficult time. We ask our community to continue showing compassion and support to one another.
