The effectiveness of PACT® treatment for fungal toenails or fingernails is estimated at 99.99%. This is confirmed by clinical studies. PACT® therapy is completely safe and painless. It does not cause any side effects. PACT® MED therapy is also possible for diabetics.

Treatment time for medium-grade nail fungus: apply a dressing with PACT® UREA 40 Salbe ointment as recommended by your chiropodist/podiatrist, and then irradiate the nail with PACT® MED rays. Treatment time 3-6 months. Irradiation takes place once a month.

Treatment for a high degree of nail fungus requires regular exposure to the PACT® MED lamp for 6 to 12 months.
In the case of regrowth showing even small signs of fungus, the radiation treatment is performed twice a month.

Hand nails fungus should be exposed to light four times a month. Irradiation is harmless to the patient and has no side effects.

Between exposures, the patient applies PACT® UREA 40 Salbe ointment once a day (thinly and without a dressing). This helps keep the nail soft and flexible and promotes proper nail regrowth. It also creates a protective barrier against fungal infection of the healthy part of the nail plate.
