Claremorris Red Cross We offer first aid courses to members of the public, & continuous training & upskilling for members. Regards

We also provide first aid cover at local events, patient transports to and from hospital appointments. The Irish Red Cross works both at home in Ireland and in countries overseas which have been damaged by wars or natural disasters. Claremorris Red Cross delivers training in the local community which benefits both you and your family and also the wider community. Claremorris Red Cross attends events and provides first aid cover , covering the Mayo Stages Rally Claremorris, equestrian events, cycle races, GAA , to the All-Ireland athletics in Athlone. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Bríd Wynne and her family for their generous donation of Richie’s first aid training equipment to Claremorris Red Cross. Richie was a dedicated member of our organization, and his commitment to helping others continues to inspire us.
We really appreciate your kindness and we are proud to carry on Richie’s legacy. This contribution will help us train many more volunteers and save lives in our community.

Some good advice from the National Ambulance Service (NAS) during this spell of hot weather ☀️☀️

With a status yellow high temperature warning in place over the weekend, it’s important to watch out for signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke. Make sure to:
✅Drink plenty of cold drinks, especially when exercising
✅Take cool baths or showers
✅ Wear light coloured, loose clothing
✅ Sprinkle water over your skin or clothes
✅ Avoid the sun between 11am and 3pm
✅ Avoid excess alcohol
✅ Avoid extreme exercise
