✍️ Like other public reps I met with Sensational Kids CEO Karen Leigh. Very glad to hear that real progress has been made by this great organisation in Kildare and its other locations nationwide in agreeing a service level agreement with HSE to promote Assessment of Needs for those thousands of children on the waiting list.

👌 The fight goes on to secure the funding to recommence construction on the National Child Development Centre on the Grey Abbey Road. NB The works currently happening there involve Kildare Co Co building its boundary wall.

Delighted to welcome Deputy Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh to Sensational Kids offices today in Kildare Town.
Our capital funding proposal to the HSE for €5 million in capital funding towards completion of The National Child Development Centre, Kildare Town was top of the agenda.

We can be part of the solution to addressing the capacity challenges and the waiting lists and to ensuring that children with additional needs get timely therapeutic support. We very much look forward to collaborating with all our stakeholders to drive this essential project forward to completion.

What an incredible moment! 🎤💃🕺 Last Saturday, the amazing CCRC Committee hosted a Lip Sync Battle at the McWilliam Park Hotel – and what a night it was!

In this photo, Joy (Fundraising Manager, Sensational Kids), Catriona and Jarlath (CCRC Committee) are celebrating an incredible €10,000 donation raised from the event.
