A HUGE thank you to the 'Stradbally Swimmers and Friends' group who organised a sponsored swim in aid of the SCCUL Sanctuary last month. Yesterday, members of the group presented the proceeds from the swim to the Sanctuary. The €2,185 total will fund the light, heat and fuel bill for the next 12 months. THANK YOU to all who donated, participated and helped in any way! Taking place at the Sanctuary next Monday evening! Tribes Beekeepers Galway

Our next club meeting will take place on the second Monday of July, which falls on the 14th!

As a committee we spoke recently about how many meetings in years gone by were simply an open forum to chat about bees, beekeeping, experiences, methods etc in an inclusive and relaxed environment. We are hoping to replicate that in a couple of weeks time.

All members welcome - from beginners to masters, in fact a big mix would be ideal! It will start at 8pm and run for 90mins. Tea and coffee will be available, feel free to bring a sweet treat to share.

As always, the venue is the wonderful SCCUL Sanctuary. Hope to see you there!
