We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our week at the 100th Connemara Pony Show such a success!

A special thank you to Mary Ward and Emma Walsh for kindly allowing their wonderful ponies, Hope and Joy to work with us for our Demo 🐴💚

We’d also like to thank Miss Ava Newman for volunteering as our rider and sharing her stunning rendition of Siúl na Rún – such a beautiful moment. 🎶

A crowd favourite at the Connemara Pony Show-Clifden, the Best & Most Appropriately Dressed competitions return to the Showgrounds Wednesday 20th August.

Step into style at the Best Dressed Lady Competition sponsored by Naya in association with Hehirs of Clifden of Clifden. Best Dressed is all about standout fashion and style choices that turn heads.

Most Appropriate Dressed Man and Most Appropriate Dressed Lady sponsored by Dubarry of Ireland and Millars Connemara focuses on how well your outfit suits the occasion and atmosphere of the Connemara Pony Show.

Entrants will have the chance at prizes in kind to the value of €2,250. Register on the day in the Show Marquee from 12.30pm to 1pm. Judging starts at 1pm with winners announced on the Gig Rig.

Next week is Clifden Show Week !
Jacqueline and Sarah along with some of our volunteers, clients and ponies will give a demonstration in Clifden Showgrounds on Tuesday August 19th at 11am.
Come along, meet the team, see how our sessions go, hear some great progress stories etc.
Everyone is welcome and entry is free of charge !

We will have a stand in the showgrounds daily Tuesday to Friday inclusive where you can meet the team and purchase some of our lovely merchandise - greeting cards, pens, mugs etc.

FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 🗓️

We are delighted to share the full schedule of events for the 100th Annual Connemara Pony Show. Taking place 19th-22nd August this year’s celebration will be marked with events across Clifden.

Four days of competitive classes will take place at the Show Grounds while live music, book launches, photography exhibitions and family activities will be held around the town.

The ‘Connemara Pony Show-Clifden’ committee of Mary Coyne (Chair), John Sweeney, Karen Mannion, Terrence O’Toole, Cllr. Eileen Mannion and Cllr. Gerry King wish to thank all entrants, sponsors and volunteers who have supported the Show to date.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Clifden in less than two weeks!
