We were delighted to welcome students and staff from Michigan State University Horse Programs to Connemara Therapeutic Riding CLG last week!

It was a pleasure to share more about the work we do and to have such a wonderful group take the time here with us, our riders and ponies. Thank you for your kindness, enthusiasms and genuine interest in our programme.

We hope you enjoyed your time in Connemara and took away some special memories and experiences. Wishing you all the very best in your educational journeys and future careers ahead. We have no doubt you will all go on to do amazing things!

A huge thank you to the amazing Transition Year students from Clifden Community School who recently organised a bake sale fundraiser in aid of Connemara Therapeutic Riding CLG 💙🐴

Thanks to their hard work, kindness, and support, they raised an incredible €350 for our charity. We are so grateful for the effort that went into organising the event and for everyone who supported it by baking, donating, and purchasing treats.

Community support like this makes such a difference and helps us continue providing therapeutic riding services for children and adults with additional needs.

Well done to our TY students who organised a Cake Sale to raise funds for Connemara Therapeutic Riding. The students did a volunteering day with the CTR last month and decided to run the Cake Sale. An amazing €350 was raised. Thanks to everyone who participated. It’s very much appreciated!

We at Connemara Therapeutic Riding were deeply saddened to receive the news of the passing of our dear loyal volunteer and friend Susanna McAdam who passed away yesterday. Susanna volunteered with CTR since our early days at Errislannan Manor and was a Wednesday regular at Cleggan Farm. With her warm, gentle and caring manner she was dearly loved by our clients, fellow volunteers, managers, staff, Board of Directors and our Connemara Ponies. We extend our deepest sympathies to her husband Claude, her family and wide circle of friends. Rest Easy Susanna, Thank you for your dedication, time and all your help over the years , You will always be fondly remembered at CTR.

🎟️ Fundraiser Raffle – This Friday the 20th of February in SuperValu from 10am to 4pm 🎟️

We are pleased to announce that raffle tickets will be available this Friday as part of our ongoing fundraiser. €5 per line or 3 lines €10.

The prize is a beautiful horse art piece, Donated and created by Sister Karol of Kylemore Abbey. A truly stunning item that would make a wonderful addition to any home.

Your support means a great deal to us, and every ticket purchased helps make a difference. We warmly invite you to participate and to share this opportunity with others who may be interested.

The Draw will take place at 4pm.
