Come and join us for our community clean up day! Get out and about and help the area look as good as it possibly can!

Saturday 28th March, from 10am until 12pm.

Hi Vis Vests, pickers, bags and gloves can be collected from the Heritage Centre on the morning of the 28th and there will be refreshments after.

Glenfin Area Council wishes to thank the Charlie McGlynn Perpetual Darts Committee for their generous donation of €1,000 to the services at Ionad Pobail Ghleann Fhinne, following their recent darts competition.

Gleann Fhinne CTR were awarded 2nd place in Ireland at the Gradam na Gaeltacta Awards for “Tograí Fiontair Soisíalta” during a ceremony held last night in Galway.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Company Directors, Glenfin Area Council and the company staff for the effort they have put in to take the project this far.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the annual Cloghan Christmas Market, due to be help on the 29th November has been cancelled. Apologies to all who were looking forward to it.

However, keep your eyes peeled in the next few months, we have some really cool events planned and some great ideas in the works, so stay tuned!
