Our workshop is a fully fitted, NSAI approved, facility operated by our highly trained technicians and certified fitters. OC Mobility offers both driver & passenger assessments to provide the client with a long-term mobility solution. The assessment evaluates the physical & cognitive ability of the individual to drive a motor vehicle in safety and comfort. The assessment is not a driving test. Clients are assessed for their reaction times, steering strengths and to determine what adaptations (if any) are required. These adaptations can be tailored for their individual needs. Passenger Assessments are undertaken for clients who experience difficulties with access to and from a vehicle. We have a wide range of equipment that may reduce or eliminate the physical effort involved during transfers in and out of a vehicle. We strive to provide high quality Wheelchair Accessible cars that suit your access & transport requirements at a price you can afford, both new pre-owned vehicles. As a Wheelchair user you may need a small, nippy disabled car to suit two people or a larger disabled car that accommodates a bigger family or care group. You might prefer manual transmission or perhaps need to drive an automatic wheelchair car.
