Who am I..?

I must admit i never really introduce myself here but here I am and this is what I look like at work 😁

20yrs ago I was working in a pub in Tralee, every night and im not a night owl so that was fun 🤣 and then at 26yrs of age I decided to give up work and with nothing to do i got the kerry's Eye and found a beauty and Massage course...and so it went from there 😀

This June Solace will be open 10yrs, honestly I can hardly believe it and I am delighted to now be teaching which I had planned to do 10yrs ago but as ever in life it can take us on a different path for a while...but on that path I learnt so much and am so grateful 🙏

We had a lovely morning recently at our first get together of Reflexologists in Solace in Clonakilty.. one of the take aways for me is how important in person classes and connections are.

To not only have the chats and laughs but to share knowledge with each other.

So I'm putting it out there for Sunday 17th May a one day in person course about Chakras and techniques to balance chakras on the feet 👣

The amount of people I meet these days who have reached burnout and are now looking to fix this and find the time to rest and learn about boundaries and self awareness, honestly its frightening 🫣

Is prevention not better than the cure, and I speak for myself here also, burnout is never far away from me, why because I am a self confessed workaholic. And yes I constantly work on this pattern.... but old habits die hard 🙄

But I am going to set an intention for this weekend to rest 😴 ❣️ and hopefully you can do the same 😊

In case you didn't know I am a member of the Irish Reflexology Institute here in Ireland, and the Reflexology Practitioners Course I teach is affiliated with them, and as a student of Solace you get to join for free when your training and then you have the option to become a full member. This will help you to avail of their Cpd Zoom Sessions and any additional support you might need 🙂

For clients, you also get the benefits as with some health insurance packages you can claim back anything from 25euro up to 70% of your Reflexology treatment.
