Ladies, How many times have you started a Netflix series and it’s so slow and you want to turn it off but you don’t because someone told you “just wait, it gets better!”

And they were right..

You end up watching the whole series and LOVING it? I definitely have 🙋‍♀️

The same goes for your fitness goals

The first few days even weeks are going to seem like nothing is changing...

Food = Medicine 💊

A conversation I keep coming back to lately…

I think sometimes we rely on medication & supplements a bit too quickly, without fully looking into the root cause of what’s going on.

From my experience working with clients, many have been prescribed multiple medications—but when I ask whether anyone has looked closely at their nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, or daily habits, the answer is often NO 🫣

That’s not to say medication isn’t important, it absolutely has its place, and in many cases it’s necessary!!

But it shouldn’t always be the only approach or the first conversation.
Often, there’s real value in digging a little deeper👇

💊Improving daily movement
💊Addressing sleep and stress
💊Building sustainable habits

These things can make a bigger difference than we sometimes expect👌

Monday morning check-ins are underway this morning and already off to a great start is this amazing lady that just started last week🙌🙌

For some of my ladies it’s not only about the weight loss….

Some ladies come to me feeling bloated, sluggish, no energy and just horrible 😭😭

My job is to 👇
✅Find foods that trigger them
✅Give them a better structure
✅Get them moving more
✅Keep them accountable
✅And just be there for them 🥰💕

Whether it’s online coaching or 1-2-1 PT in the gym I love helping my ladies get their head around NUTRITION ..

If you’re not eating for your goals you’re making things very difficult unnecessarily.

⏩ No two clients are the same

⏩ One size doesn’t fit all

All my ladies have different goals , different likes / dislikes , some food intolerances and different schedules too.

I have one amazing lady with me at the moment who works incredibly hard , gets to the gym , gets her walks in too but was confused about her eating times and like so many ladies , felt hungry in the evenings and the cravings were kicking in ... She really wants this to work , be long-term sustainable and help her stay on track ... Factoring in well deserved meals out too !

All easily sorted ✅✅

Making sure she gets her meals and snacks factored into her working day helps massively ,, ensuring there’s enough protein too 😉

It’s not about cutting everything out .. too many make that mistake , get hungry ( totally understandable) and then the snacking gets out of control. Goals gone 😔😔

Because she’s so accountable it’s easy for me to help her get the structure she needs so it all just happens on autopilot now 👌

Your body changing after 35 doesn’t mean it stopped working 🫠

But somewhere along the way, women believe that hormones are the reason they can’t lose weight anymore...

That their metabolism is “broken.”
That their body just doesn’t respond like it used to.

Here’s the reality……..
Hormones can absolutely affect how you feel - you might feel, hungrier, more tired, or
less motivated to move.
But they aren’t the direct cause of weight gain.

What usually happens is:
You eat a little more... move a little less... and over time that adds up. The solution isn’t waiting for your hormones to magically fix themselves.

It’s the same structure that have always worked:
👉🏼Prioritize protein
👉🏼Lift weights
👉🏼Prioritize sleep
👉🏼Move your body daily

When you stop waiting for the “perfect time” and start building habits again, things change.
✅Your energy improves.
✅Your sleep gets better.
✅You stop thinking about food all day.
✅And the progress you’ve been chasing finally starts to happen.

Your body isn’t broken. You’ve just been giving it the wrong message for a long time.
