We had a full house for knitting club this afternoon. Our 100 squares are finished and over the coming weeks will be transformed into blankets for Teddy and Winston, the gorgeous alpacas who visited us last summer. Of course all of this is made possible due to the commitment and hard work of our talented volunteers Jane and Mary.
For our Spring project we are making things a little more challenging and will be taking on Izzy Teddy Bear Dolls.These dolls also know as comfort dolls are sent both locally and overseas and are welcomed by volunteer organisations who distribute them to bring comfort to children in areas of need around the world. We can't wait to get started !
