✨ It’s not just what’s in your skincare… it’s how it’s formulated that makes all the difference!

Two products can have the same hero ingredient, but vastly different results. Why?

Because formulation impacts:
✔️ How well the ingredient penetrates
✔️ Whether it’s stable + effective
✔️ How it plays with other ingredients
✔️ How your skin tolerates it

So, when you’re shopping for skincare, yes absolutely look for ingredients - but also look at ingredient concentration (how much is in it?), fragrance (avoid if possible) and the packaging! Packaging is super important when it comes to skincare - will it keep it potent over time? Is the dispenser suitable to the consistency? SO much to consider 🤯

If you’ve just come home from a great weekend at ATN, you and your skin might be feeling a little bit worse for wear? 😅

Here’s what I do myself after a hectic weekend or a few drinks when my skin is feeling dehydrated, tired and in need of some TLC 🫶🏻

- Take a hot, steamy shower (not too hot!); the steam from the shower will help open up those pores of yours that are likely full of sweat, SPF (I hope) and leftover makeup.
- Double cleanse; it’s very unlikely that your skin got a solid cleanse throughout the weekend so after your shower take your time with cleansing pat dry with a clean cloth
- Skip the actives; right now, your skin needs nourishment and most actives like retinoids, Vitamin C, or your exfoliating acids might further irritate your already tired skin - skip it and focus on hydration.
- If you’re a sheet mask girly, tonight is the night to pop one on and let it sit for a while to get as much moisture back into the skin as possible. When removing, massage all of that excess into your skin.
- Before you tuck yourself into bed - finish with a nice luxurious moisturiser, your lip balm and a hand cream.

Wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready to take on the week ✨

Another look at the subtle impact that 0.5ml can 👄

My advice to anyone getting their lips enhanced is to go in with an end-result in mind rather than an amount of filler in mind. So often, I have ladies coming into me saying they want the a full ml of filler, but after chatting to them about what they want and the results they’re hoping for, we end up going for less than what they thought they needed.

Come in with an open mind and a clear idea of the end-goal, and leave the rest to me 😉
