Home care for an inflamed ingrown toenail is essential 👣
✔️ daily antiseptic care
✔️ anti-inflammatory treatment
✔️ proper off-loading of the nail fold
❌ no cutting or digging at home

⚠️ Without correct home care, inflammation will return.
Professional treatment + home care = long-term results.

What is happening to this world?December 14.
We’re heading to a Christmas party — fairy lights, festive glow, cold air…
and suddenly, yellow flowers.
🌼 Daffodils in bloom.

In December.
Not spring. Not “by accident in the warmth.”
But boldly. Truly.
What is happening to this world?..

What you see on this woman’s fingers — she lived with this for almost two years.
TWO years of viral growths (HPV) around her nails, and not a single nail technician stopped her or raised the alarm.
Why does this happen?
📌 Lack of knowledge about skin conditions.
Every nail technician must know how to recognize viral warts, infections and inflammatory changes. This is the foundation of safe practice.
📌 Financial motivation.
When making money becomes more important than the client’s health, problems get ignored — and the service continues.
📌 Risk of spreading infection.
Tools, files, drill bits… Poor sterilization means the virus can easily be passed to the next client.

Sometimes a nail like this looks impossible to restore.
Thickening, deformation, layering, empty spaces under the plate — the starting point can be challenging. But this is exactly where real restoration begins.
This nail required patience, meticulous machine debridement, and consistent follow-up care.
And here is the main thing: if you stay committed and follow the recommendations, you will see results.
The nail will start growing cleaner, smoother, thinner, and healthier with every visit.
We don’t rely on miracles — we create steady progress step by step:
✨ gentle debridement
✨ removal of loose material
✨ controlled regrowth
✨ personalised home care
Yes, even a nail like this can be restored with the right approach and consistency.

A message to patients: don’t rush into surgery.
The experience of many patients shows that you should not hurry into surgical intervention when dealing with an ingrown toenail.
Surgery does not guarantee a complete solution. In the best-case scenario, it is a 50/50 outcome.
Yes, sometimes surgery is necessary — but it should always be the very last option.
There are more gentle, conservative methods of correction.
They may take longer, require regular visits, and be more expensive.
But unlike surgery, these methods help preserve the natural anatomy of the nail and prevent irreversible damage to the matrix.
Please remember:
🔸 You will always have time to choose surgery.
🔸 But once the matrix is damaged, it cannot be restored — the nail will never be the same again.
If you are experiencing an ingrown toenail, try to find a qualified podiatrist or a specialist with real experience who can explain, show, and guide you through what needs to be done in your specific case.
Such a specialist does not work only “here and now,” but focuses on the long-term health and structure of your nail.
Surgeons are excellent professionals, but their task is to quickly resolve the acute problem.
A podiatrist, however, looks for the most natural and conservative solution — the one that allows the nail to grow correctly and without pain.
Give gentle methods a chance. Postpone surgery until it truly becomes the only possible option.
☝️I also want to point out that in this particular story, one important detail was not considered from the very beginning —
the initial cause of inflammation was never identified.
Everything that followed was secondary.
If you share this Reels with 10 friends,
I will personally tell you what the very first mistake was in this long journey.

My trip to Japan flew by as fast as the Shinkansen — in the blink of an eye.
But it left an unforgettable mark and a deep desire to return to this incredible country again and again. 🇯🇵✨
