What exactly is Clonmel BID and why is it being proposed?👇

Clonmel BID (Business Improvement District) is a five-year initiative (2026–2031) that empowers the local business community to work together, invest in our town centre, and shape the future of Clonmel🧑‍🤝‍🧑

It’s a not-for-profit company funded by local commercial ratepayers, with all contributions pooled together and reinvested directly into the town. The company is overseen by a voluntary board of directors who are not paid for their role.
The goal is to make Clonmel a more vibrant, welcoming, and thriving place to live, work, shop, and visit.

Through Clonmel BID, the town will benefit from:

✔ Targeted improvements to streets, public spaces, and safety
✔ Marketing and tourism campaigns that attract more visitors
✔ Support for businesses and local events
✔ A full-time CEO delivering projects on your behalf
✔ An annual budget of €350,000, with potential to unlock match funding

Clonmel BID is by local businesses, for local businesses. A thriving town benefits us all. This is your opportunity to take the lead on Clonmel’s future✨

Last Thursday evening we talked all things menopause at the Talbot hotel, Clonmel. Thank you to everyone who came to our talk, we were blown away with how many were there. Thank you to our three wonderful speakers, Dr Kirsty Hedding, DJ O’Dwyer and Evan Lynch. I think it’s safe to say that everyone came away with some very useful tips and information that will help us all through our menopause journey.
