We are sad to announce the passing of
Imelda Furlong
(née Barry)
Kilpatrick, Stradbally, Laois.
25th August 2025.

Imelda, passed away peacefully, in the company of her loving family, at her residence, in her 88th year.
Predeceased by her husband Willie, her sister Nancy and brother Sean, her parents Hugh and Elizabeth.
Deeply regretted by her daughter Marie, sons Martin and Noel, daughters-in-law Laura and Ann Marie, grandchildren John, Emily, Kate and Liam, sister Mary Buggie, sister in law Ann Barry, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Imelda Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence (R32 AP20) on Wednesday from 3pm with Recital of the rosary at 8pm.

Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday morning at 10:30am to arrive at the church of Assumption the Heath (R32 TN88) for 11am Requiem mass. Which can be viewed on the church we**am https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/churches/church-of-the-assumption-the-heath/

Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery.

We are sad to announce the passing of
Mary (Millie) Murphy
(née O’Connor)
Bellgrove, Ballybrittas, Laois
26th August 2025

Millie passed away peacefully in the company of her loving and devoted family, in her 87th year at Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Billy, and her parents Patrick and Kathleen O’Connor and her brother Michael.
Millie will be greatly missed by her loving children Michael, Patrick, Mary and Catherine. Much loved Grandmother of Aisleen, Gavin, Michelle, Shane, Amy, Katie and Eoghan. Daughters-in-law Geraldine and Kate, Sons-in-law Frankie, Catherine’s Partner Liam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece’s, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Millie Rest in Peace

Reposing at her residence (R32 K63X) Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm with recital of the rosary at 8pm.
Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday at 2pm to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Rath for 2:30pm Requiem Mass.
Interment to follow in New Cemetery Emo.

Thomas (Tom) Lalor

Thomas (Tom) passed away peacefully at his residence in the company of his loving family. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Dorothy, his sons Christy, Mark, daughter Jennifer, stepdaughters Isabell and Cheryl, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and brothers Seamus and Larry.
Thomas is predeceased by first wife Rose his two sons Patrick and Martin, his brothers Jerry and Paddy.
Thomas will be sadly missed by his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Presentation Chapel of Rest Stradbally on Tuesday from 4:30pm to 8pm with recital of the rosary at 8pm.
Thomas requiem mass will take place at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart church Stradbally on Wednesday the 20th. Which can be viewed on the church we**am https://svtparish.ie/we**am Interment to follow in Oakvale cemetery.

We are sad to announce the passing of
Joseph (Joe) Luttrell
Fisherstown, Ballybrittas, Laois.
August 3rd 2025

Joe passed away in the company of his loving family in The Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Joan, his daughter Alison, his son Danny, son in law Riki and Danny’s girlfriend Jennifer, cherished grand daughter Saoirse, his siblings Dan, Johnny, Jude, Betty, Garry, Mary, Simon Noel, sisters in law Dorothy, Julie, Oonagh, Sophie, Patricia, Carmel and Elizabeth, brothers in law Leo, Mick and Bill, his uncle Joe and aunt Mary, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his father Simon, his brother Garrett and recently his mother Anna.

May Joe Rest in Peace.

Reposing on Tuesday in Our Lady’s Chapel of Rest Monasterevin (W34 N599) from 4pm to 8pm with Recital of the Rosary at 8pm.

Joe will be arriving on Wednesday to the Sacred Heart Church Rath (R32 FN44) for 12 noon Requiem mass.
Interment to follow in Saint Johns cemetery, Killenard (R32 VW77).

Marian passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family in Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Sadly missed by her husband Tom, her sister Sheila, brothers Dick and Joe. Predeceased by her sisters Angela, Debbie and Evelyn and her brothers Seamus and Tony. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
