We are sad to announce the passing of
May Tynan
(née Flynn)
Fisherstown, Ballybrittas, Laois
6th November 2025

May passed away peacefully in her 90th year in Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington in the company of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Liam and her brother-in-law Denis Tynan, her twin brother Paddy, Bill, Jimmy, Mick, Lar and Joe.
Sadly missed by her lovely daughters Elizabeth and Geraldine, sons-in-law Martin and William, sisters Theresa and Nancy, brothers John and Ned, grandchildren Martin, Shaun and Billy, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

May will be reposing at her daughter Geraldine’s residence (R32 V0D7) on Friday 7th from 3pm to 8pm with recital of the rosary at 8pm.
Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Saturday morning at 11.20am to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church Rath for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Saint John’s cemetery, Killenard. (R32 VW77)

We are sad to announce the passing of
Eugene O Reilly
13 Church Avenue,
Stradbally,
Co. Laois.
October 30th 2025.

Eugene passed away peacefully in his 94th year in Droímín Nursing Home, Stradbally, Co Laois. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis. Sadly missed by his sons Peter, Jimmy and Owen, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Eugene Rest in Peace.

Eugene will be reposing in The Presentation Chapel Stradbally (R32 WRH9) on Saturday 1st November from 3pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm Saturday evening.
Removal on Sunday 2nd by Whelehan Funeral Directors from the Presentation Chapel to the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally for 2pm Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale cemetery.

Brendan McManus

Brendan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend Geraldine, his sons Seán, Ciarán and Aidan, daughter inlaws Gemma, Avril, grandchildren Lily, Emily, Eála, sister Mary and brother Aidan, brothers inlaw, sisters inlaw, nieces nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Brendan will be reposing at his residence on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm concluding with recital of the Rosary.

Removal on Monday morning by Whelehan Funeral Directors at 11:15am to arrive to Saint Johns Church Killenard for 12 noon Requiem mass. Interment to follow in adjoining cemetery.
