The aim of today's Chill Skills class was to gain a better understanding of visualization and each child created a vision board and to learn how mental imagery and visualization are powerful tools to enhance our mental health.
We started today's class with a mindful exercise of checking in with ourselves, just noticing the feelings that were present in our bodies and in our minds in that moment.
Following a quick warm-up, we played a game on how to use our imagination by closing our eyes and seeing an animal, feeling and hearing that animal and we had to guess what the animal was.
After some stretches, we did a massage on our temples while visualizing our favorite colour, using all our senses. Then we practiced some breathing by visualizing a golden thread through our body.
In the Believe step, we did a vision board to use and create the life we want. We finished with a nice relaxation at the beach.
