Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday in Corrin Event Centre Fermoy for our Annual Tillage Conference. To our Tillage Farmers, Suppliers, Speakers and Friends it was great to meet you all.

Congratulations again to our 4 Regional Malting Barley Competition Winners and to our Overall Winners Oliver and Margaret Keating.

Dairygold Tillage Conference is held every year to bring all of our Tillage Farmers together and put a spotlight on the Tillage Industry and this was definitely achieved yesterday.

Thank you again for coming, here’s a snippet from a great day and we are looking forward to next year already.

Congratulations to Michael & John Henry O Driscoill, Our South Cork Regional Malting Barley Winner for 2025!

The O’Driscoll brothers farm 140 ha of limestone land west of Cork city, growing cereals and maize for local farmers. Formerly a dairy farm, they switched to tillage in the 1970s. Malting barley is a key crop, with early planting prioritized. Nutrition plans are based on soil sampling, and crops are established using plough and one-pass systems. Plant protection and trace elements are applied carefully under agronomist Dylan O’Gorman, with records kept on Gateway. The farm consistently produces high-yielding, top-quality crops.

Overall Malting Barley Winner for 2025 will be announced at Dairygold Annual Tillage Conference on Friday the 9th of January 2026 in Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy, Co. Cork P61 EE37.
