🕯️ Today we remember – On this World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims, we honour all those who have lost their lives on Irish roads, and we stand in solidarity with every family, friend, and community affected.
From 1st January to 15th November 2025, there have been 152 lives lost on Irish roads.
(152 is the total as of 14 Nov 2025 per Garda roads policing data.)
36 - Pedestrians
59 - Drivers
13 - Passengers
2 - E Scooter Driver / Passenger
28 - Motorcyclists
13 - Pedal Cyclists
1 - Pillion Passengers / Others
In County Cork, the toll continues to pain us deeply — as of September/October, the figure is 14 fatalities in 2025.
Each of these numbers represents a person — a life cut short, a family changed forever.
Let us recommit ourselves to road safety.
• Drive with care: slow down, avoid distractions, and always wear a seatbelt.
• For pedestrians and cyclists: stay alert, stay visible.
• We all share responsibility.
May those we’ve lost never be forgotten, and may their memories inspire safer roads for us all.
