💥 New guidance has been released to help the public recognise and respond to concussion in grassroots sports.

Covering common signs like dizziness, headaches and memory issues, it encourages immediate action with the key message: “if in doubt, sit them out” and seek medical advice to ensure player safety at all levels.

Friday 27th March Mizen Peninsula Weather Forecast.

Good Morning

A cloudy start to Friday but brightening up as we move through the day with the sun even popping out for a visit. I’m hoping it will stay dry but as ever there is a chance of a shower here and there. So watch the clothes if they are out.

Winds today are northwest in direction. The winds will be fresh in strength today with gusts up to 40km.

Temperatures today of 10-11 degrees but feeling cooler in that strong northwest wind.

Tomorrow Saturday should be a lovely sunny day with various amounts of sunshine and cloud.

Sunday the rain returns with rain moving in and clearing in the evening.

On Sunday I’ll do detailed forecast for Easter week as I know the kids are off school and it will be handy to know what lies ahead.
