Should you be using a dressing pack?

I have had a few people message me about this, saying that they are being told not to use dressing packs for wound care.

It's probably a lack of knowledge and the fact that this is ANOTHER expense for businesses who provide wound care ........but here are the guidelines👌

You should be using at least a basic dressing pack (plastic tray, forceps and gauze) when performing any wound care.

I see it more in nursing home settings to be honest but it could be happening elsewhere 🤷‍♀️

I have heard and seen all sorts about using dressing packs in the community.

"This is their home so there's no need for a dressing pack" 🙈 that's my favourite!

One of the things I was worried about when I left my full-time job in the hospital was not having any colleagues!

Nursing is a hard job and colleagues are so important to bounce things off and pick you up when you need it.

Luckily I found Denise who had absolutely changed my life (not just professionally)💜

Meeting other women who are trying to run a successful business, be a mom, a partner, a friend, a sister and a daughter has been game changing!
