👉 What should you do after dry needling?

You will not need to do anything after treatment except rest. Drink plenty of water and get a solid night of sleep. It is best not to workout after dry needling, but walking or any gentle movement is helpful to promote blood circulation!

📣 Did you know that sciatica is actually a symptom and not a disease on its own?
It brings of pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the leg, caused by injury or pressure on the sciatic nerve.

The pain experienced in sciatica can be felt in various locations. For example, it can extend from the lower back all the way down to the heel, foot, or even descend the back or side of the thigh.

But there's also lumbar back pain that can spread beyond the lower back, reaching the lower limbs. This suggests that there might be a lesion of the nerve roots departing from the lumbar spine. These nerve roots carry sensation signals and control muscle contraction in the lower limbs through the sciatic nerve.

However, if the pain doesn't go below the knee, we shouldn't label it as sciatica. This may indicate that the cause of the pain is not related to nerve root injury.

If you're experiencing sciatica, physiotherapy can be a great solution!
It involves gentle nerve stretching and improving the core muscles around the lower back, aiming to alleviate pain and discomfort.

Remember, understanding the symptoms and causes of sciatica can help you find the right treatment approach.

Consult with our experienced physiotherapist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Take care!
