Hello everyone, it has been a long time since we have done a post. We hope you are all enjoying your summer. There has been an unavoidable increase in our fees from this week, we will update our website price list accordingly in the near future.

The flu season is almost upon us. We will post again when we know what the plan is for the coming flu season. At present all the details have not been finalised.

If you are looking for a COVID booster, the HSE has a booking engine you can use online to book your vaccines but at present we will not be doing any further COVID vaccines.

04/01/2022

From the HSE website:

I am aged 4 to 39 and have COVID-19 symptoms

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, and are aged 4 to 39 you should use antigen tests. Do not book a PCR test.

You can book antigen tests online from the HSE. Only book 1 kit per person.

You also need to self-isolate (stay in your room). There is a high risk you could spread the virus.

Follow this advice even if you had your first round of COVID-19 vaccines, a booster, or a positive PCR test in the past 3 months.

We apologise that our phone lines are extremely busy with requests for covid PCR tests,
IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OR A POSITIVE ANTIGEN TEST THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS TO SELF-ISOLATE
Anyone who has a positive antigen test should contact us for a referral for PCR test regardless of age / medical conditions
Anyone aged under 4 or over 40 or medically vulnerable (including pregnancy) should contact us for a referral if you have symptoms, regardless of antigen test result
Please note there are delays in PCR test appointments of up to 5 days
If you are between the ages of 4 and 39 and have symptoms of covid-19 please read this information before phoning:
https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/covid19/testing/get-tested/

There are 2 types of COVID-19 test available from the HSE: antigen tests (home test kits) and PCR tests (done at a test centre and sent to a lab).
