Immunisation against RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) helps protect babies from severe illness.

Parents of babies born between 1st of March 2025 and 31st of August 2025 can now book an appointment for immunisation free of charge at www2.hse.ie/conditions/rsv/

Babies born between 1st of September 2025 and 28th of February 2026 will be offered RSV vaccine in the Maternity Hospital.
