Hi Guys, any of you that are interested in growing a few things in even a small garden it time to get started. I have a small garden but I insist on growing lettuce, cherry tomatoes and any herbs I need, mose of them in pots or hanging baskets. I also added a strawberry patch last year just for fun. Herbs are so easy and most of mine are in pots. Go on give it a go.

Ok Spring is in the air what do we want to eat? I know my tastes are changing from comfort warming foods to lighter foods, or a combination of both already. Listen to your body and see what you want. Lets look at some ideas and see what we come up with for nice recipies. I have a few in mind but I want you thinking and sharing also. My lunch today was a mixture. A hearty warming soup served with toasted bread and tomatoes, peppers marinated in garlic, oil and a flavoured vinegar. Sounds fancy but not at all real easy.

Last Friday nights dinner. Salmon and Pototoe Cakes. Yummy and so easy to make. Also a great way to get fish into reluctant fish eaters.
