I am a 200 hour yoga alliance certified teacher, practicing since 2012, and teaching full-time since 2015. Prior to this I worked in IT, office-bound for 15 years, and now in my classes I like to explore aspects that encourage us to really get to know our own bodies, allowing them to open up gradually and release long term tensions, building strength and countering the effects of sitting and of everyday modern life.
I teach hatha, vinyasa flow, yin and restorative classes, at times bringing in elements of pilates and/or meditation.
I believe that yoga is for everyone, no matter what age or fitness or flexibility, and encourage acceptance of where you are rather than focusing on goals. My classes are strong and challenging, but with an element of light-heartedness and fun, helping students to increase their confidence, discover their potential and most importantly to be happy and healthy.
