The Rt Rev. Dr Bishop Paul Colton, Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, recently made his final official visit to St Luke’s Charity & Home Cork before retirement.

Over his remarkable 26-year tenure as Chairperson and Director, Bishop Colton oversaw several major milestones including the opening of the Day Care Centre in 2000, the Millennium Project Conservatory in 2002 and the creation of the Northridge House Education & Research Centre in 2012.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Bishop Colton for his outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the mission of St Luke’s 💙

Our sincere thanks to Anita Curtain, Sarah O’Keeffe, Robert McGarry and Mark Ginn from for visiting St Luke’s Home recently and spending great time chatting with our residents and Daycare clients; they loved meeting you!

We are enormously grateful to the Carrigaline Lions Club for the wonderful donation of €6,000. These funds will be used to support our ongoing Dementia care, services and units.

As a voluntary, not-for-profit (charity) residential care home heavily reliant on fundraising, donations, grants and philanthropy, the Carrigaline Lions Club’s donation is a vital contribution to support the care and comfort of all our residents and Daycare clients, especially those living with Dementia in all its many forms, for whom we have the privilege of caring.
