The first thing we all have to know is who we are. And when we are happy about ourselves, I tell you, when you know who you are according to the teaching of Dharmakirti and Atisha Dipankaraโbased on the teaching of Lord Buddha, of course. Their teaching introduces you to yourself. And when you know that, it's impossible not to feel good about yourself. You have to feel good about yourself. โฃ

What they tell us is: I am good, you are good, everybody is good naturally. Naturally. So the ultimate nature of you, I, and everybody is perfect. There is no ultimate badness in anybody. Of course, there are bad people. Sometimes we also act very bad and angry, jealous, greedy, tricky, all of this. But it is not ultimate. It is a mistake, it is relative, it is impermanent. Our perfectness will never be corrupted by anything, but our imperfection cannot last long. So, this negative side of us is the outcome of so many circumstances: yourself, other people, surroundings, so many things, and also basically misunderstanding. We don't understand what is "me," we don't understand what are all these people, we don't understand what is our world. We don't understand. Then we misunderstand, we have misperceptions, then we become ignorant. And when we become ignorant, we can be desperate, we can be restless, we can be aggressive, or when it goes the other way around, we will be totally, totally depressed. And that is not our nature.โฃ

The sky is always clean and clear. Sometimes there is a storm, sometimes there is a cloud, but it is never ultimately clouded. It is temporarily clouded, and ultimately, at that whole time, primordial clearness and cleanness is the nature of the sky. In the same way, our mind is perfect at all times.โฃ
