This memory came to mind today ❤️ I cannot remember who took the photo but I remember the afternoon as clear as it was yesterday. It was from many years ago … when we really started to play with clinical exercise, including Pilates in the elite athlete population.

Today leading a lecture/workshop to doctors and physios in UCC we explored how exercise can be a potent tool in the management of athletic low back pain. How, when clinically reasoned and used in the right way it can completely change your pain experience.

We pulled from so many years of working with high performance athletes in high risk sports (for low back pain) like rowing and gymnastics as well as@so many of our clients who found their activity levels hampered by lower back concerns.

We are very grateful to our past and current clients for believing in our clinical approach to rehab and equally proud of the goals you have achieved. Big & small!

We have continued our online classes into 2026 with the option to join live or access a recording that progresses week on week.

These classes have been popular with our clients who can’t make it into the studio due to shift work, childcare or distance. Many choose to combine an online class with a in-studio option too.

We love that some of original class members who moved away from Cork over the years have rejoined our classes from afar and continue to feel the benefits of regular exercise well into retirement!!

We take great care in how and what we teach making sure we understand your clinical history to make sure we recommend the right class for you.

You can’t beat an early Sunday morning swim ❤️

The tail end of August is when we slow down as a clinic. Please be mindful our response times might be a little longer than usual as we lap up the final days of summer.

Our online library will go live on Monday evening Aug 18th to support you while our regular classes take a break. Please get in touch to join our mailing list for access.

We will send out some emails in the coming week to open our course bookings for September. Please get in touch to let us know if you will be taking a break, looking to return or change your class time. It helps with our annual juggle as do our best to secure places for you all.
