Cork Lotus Yoga Studio is a big and bright yoga studio in the heart of Cork City centre. We offer nearly 20 classes per week and are open 7 days.

We host teacher trainings, events and workshops. We have class suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced.

Slow Sundays

I am absolutely loving being back. Taking time to slow down and help others do the same.

We have some classes before the new year begins and then will be reopened on January 5th!

Nurturing the Yin this winter.

Taking time to slow down is an act of rebellion.
The world is constantly telling us to do more, need more, be better, earn more, set goals, make plans.

When do we get a chance to recoop?

Everything needs time to rest and go inwards. To digest our experiences. To build our energy reserves.
We deserve this time too.

And it's hard to find the time, I deeply know this. It feels wrong to slow down when we are being told otherwise so much.

But choosing this conscious, seasonal rest will stand to you as we move into Spring and the more Yang months next year.
Try it out and see.

Say no more.
Slow down your walking.
Make more time for stillness.
For deep rest (try yoga nidra recordings!)
Breath low & slow into your side ribs.
Practice yoga.
Linger in a hug a little longer.
Drop your shoulders.

Don't overcomplicate it. It's simple, not easy at times, but simple.
