Please be assured I will be contacting existing clients over the next week or two and gradually ease back in to this new normal now that the country is beginning to unlock. I understand that we have all been affected by lockdown and will do my very best to accommodate you as best I can and I hope for the same understanding in return. 2020 has been like a roller coaster ride so far but now more than ever, our health matters ❤️

As lockdown starts to ease..... you decide for you, I'll decide for me.

As all of us are trying to figure out how to ease back into normal, please remember:
🛑 Some people don’t agree with the unlocking.... that’s ok. Be kind.
🏡 Some people are still planning to stay home.... that’s ok. Be kind.
🦠 Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening.... that’s ok. Be kind.
💰 Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....that’s ok. Be kind.
👩🏾‍⚕️Some are thankful they can finally have the surgery they have had put off....that’s ok. Be kind.
📝 Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job....that’s ok. Be kind.
😷 Some will wear masks for weeks.... that’s ok. Be kind.
💅🏻 Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done.... that’s ok. Be kind.

❤️ The point is, everyone has different viewpoints/feelings and that’s ok. Be kind.

We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind.
If you need to go out, just respect others when in public and be kind!

Don’t judge fellow humans because you’re not in their story. We all are in different mental states than we were three months ago. So remember, be kind. I’m ready to live my best life with a new appreciation for the little things - are you?

It was a long time coming but it's so exciting to see a shift in policy and practice. Swapping vegetables and fruit to the base of the food pyramid and reducing starchy carbohydrate recommendations is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Fruit and vegetables now comprise the largest shelf on the food pyramid.

Yum - can't beat a warm fake-away on a winters night

Domini Kemp made another tasty takeaway! Chicken, Cashews & Broccoli stir fry

(serves 4)
4 skinless chicken breasts, sliced into half-inch strips
1 tbsp fice-spice powder
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp coconut oil
400g broccoli stems
200ml water
2 tbsp cashews
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Start by marinating the chicken in the 5 spice, sliced garlic and tamari about half an hour before you are ready to serve. When you’re ready to cook, heat the coconut oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken until it’s coloured a little – about three minutes – before adding the broccoli stems and the 200ml of water. Cover tightly with a lid, turn the heat down to medium, and steam cook for about five minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the stems are al dente. Remove the lid and check the seasoning (it shouldn’t need salt) before adding the nuts and sesame seeds, tossing the whole together and serving on a bed of ‘rice’ like wild rice or cauliflower rice
