We had such a fantastic afternoon celebrating Halloween with a paint and sip session here at Windmill House Care Centre! Residents got creative with their spooky masterpieces while enjoying plenty of laughter, good company, and a few treats along the way. 👻💜

Our residents, staff, and families truly got into the spirit with fantastic costumes, spooky decorations, and lots of laughter all around. 🍬💀🧙‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special — from those who decorated and organised games, to everyone who joined in and made the event such a fang-tastic success. 💜

Huge congratulations to the amazing team at Abbot Close Care Centre who took part in Irish Hospice Foundation’s 100 Miles in October challenge. 👏💚

Together, they raised vital funds for IHF’s work — including the Caru Programme, our Bereavement Support Line, and Nurses for Night Care. Your dedication (and the way you cheered each other on!) helped you cross that finish line with fantastic results. We’re so grateful. 🌟

The 100 Miles challenge will be back in March 2026. In the meantime, you can join IHF for the Never Forgotten Night Walk on Friday, 28 November — a special 5km you can walk, jog, or run anywhere in Ireland to remember loved ones and support people who are grieving. 🕯️

It’s always lovely to see everyone getting involved, moving to the music, and enjoying the benefits of staying active together. A big thank you to our wonderful team for keeping fitness fun and engaging! 💛

🏇🎉 A Day at the Races! 🎉🏇

Our residents and staff from Willow Brooke Care Centre had an absolutely fantastic day out at the @ 2025! The excitement was high as everyone boarded the bus — packed and full of laughter, chatter, and anticipation for a great day ahead. 🚌💨

From cheering on the horses to enjoying the atmosphere, it was a wonderful outing filled with smiles, fun, and plenty of memories made together. 💚

🎃✨ Pumpkin Carving Fun at Windmill House! ✨🎃

Our wonderful residents got into the Halloween spirit this week with a festive pumpkin carving afternoon! From spooky faces to creative masterpieces, everyone showed off their carving skills (and got a little messy, too!). 🧡🕸️

It was a joy to see so many smiles, laughter, and teamwork as we prepare to make Windmill House look extra boo-tiful for Halloween! 👻
